Psychological counselling

Persons and their families do not come to the fact of disability from nowhere, as clean slates; they bear life experiences and live in social and psychological contexts which may or may not be suitable for dealing with issues of disability. Psychological counselling explores the impact that such an event may have in such contexts, and intends to help the client recover a sense of meaning for existence.

Beside the psychologist, the following staff may take part: peer counsellors.
